SITUATION

In April 2013 I completed post-graduate studies in Advertising Account Management at Centennial College in Toronto. I graduated at the top of my class and began a fifteen-week internship at Leo Burnett on the TD Canada Trust account management team.  During my internship at Leo Burnett I provided daily client service support and competitive analysis for national advertising campaigns in the very competitive financial industry. 

RESPONSIBILITY

My role required quickly stepping into a busy account portfolio and learning the ropes fast in order to support my team. 


As a player in a two person account team I used organizational and interpersonal skills to ensure that TV, print, radio, OOH and digital campaigns were executed on time and on strategy.  Working directly with MVG and agency creative teams, I lead projects through briefing, creative development, studio production and execution all while ensuring client expectations and budgets were met.  This also included strategic planning with media and client.

RESULTS

Successful completion of fifteen-week internship, resulting in an extension

 

Supported very busy team during on-boarding phase of a significant client

 

Involvement in eight national advertising campaigns

 

Progressively more responsible work to include direct contact with clients
